America’s Next Top Model Is Indecent
Watch out! The Parents Television Council is not too happy about nudity on America’s Next Top Model. They are mad and ready to fight! The PTC has filed an indecency complaint with the Federal Communications Council. The complaint is over the episode a few weeks ago where one model does a full nude shoot, even though all body parts are always covered up with a sheet when the camera shows her.
“This is not simply a matter of artistic freedom, as some might claim. Rather, this is about a television network intentionally pushing the envelope to establish a new acceptable nudity standard for the broadcast medium. Parents and families are fed up with such blatant and continued disregard for decency standards.”
I don’t think of ANTM as being a particularly steamy show so it really doesn’t bother me. Not that I know anything about modeling, but it does seem like being naked is a big part of the job. What do you think? Is ANTM indecent, or are these people making a big deal out of nothing?

They’re making a big deal out of nothing. Are they ashamed of the human body? It’s so ridiculous. They show violence and gore on the 6 o’clock news, but showing a bit of skin is wrong? Somehow the priorities are not set right.
