CBS Announces Their Summer Lineup!

CBS has unveiled their new summer tv schedule that has a newly added 90 hours of original programming including two new drama based shows, some specials and all of their usual reality tv suspects.

“Big Brother” is slated to have three weekly airing this summer. The 10th season of the reality show will start on Sunday, July 13 at 8pm. Julie Chen is still scheduled to provide the hosting duties for the hit show.

There are a couple new reality shows to add to their lineup, starting with “Million Dollar Password” hosted by Regis Philbin. The classic game show will have guest such as Rachael Ray and Neil Patrick Harris. The show will premier on June 1 on continue on Sunday nights at 8pm.

Everyone loves a great dog right? Well CBS thinks so and one of their other reality shows is “Greatest American Dog” which has dogs and their owners going against each other to via for the title of best trained dog. Interested? Make sure to tune to CBS on July 10 for that one.

Mark Burnett will ask people to come up with new jingles for ads in a competitive game show starting Sunday, July 27.

The much anticipated show “Swingtown“, which is a drama set in suburbia in the 1970’s staring Jack Davenport, Lana Parrilla, Josh Hopkins, Molly Parker and Grant Show will have its premier pushed back slightly to June 5.

Premiering a month later is “Flashpoint.” The police drama will air on Friday nights at 10 pm starting on July 11.

Some of CBS’ already popular returning shows will try new time slots this summer. “Without a Trace” will start on Tuesday on June 3, “Numb3rs” will move up to 9pm on Fridays and “Cold Case” will air Sundays at 10pm.
