So who’s ready for the movie, “Mamma Mia!”? I’m sure you’ve all heard of the uber successful play both in New York and in Las Vegas. Well that same play turned movie is going to be coming to theaters near you in July 18th, 2008. It stars Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Amanda Seyfried. It’s based of off popular ABBA songs and shamefully I will admit that I do enjoy ABBA. A lot. Hey, no laughing! Here’s what IMDb had on it.

The story of a bride-to-be trying to find her real father told using hit songs by the popular ’70s group ABBA.

A very deserving Meryl Streep was honored by the 35th Film Society of Lincoln Center which was held at Avery Hall in NYC. Some of Hollywood’s greats came out to honor Ms. Streep among them were Uma Thurman, Glenn Close, Stellan Skarsgard, Christopher Walken and Amy Adams. What do you think of Meryl’s dress? To me she can do no wrong and this dress is perfect for her. It’s very classic.

Yeah!!!! I just read up on this movie and I’m super excited for it to come out. Here’s the sexy and talented Clive Owen and one of my favorite actresses Julia Roberts on the set of their new movie, “Duplicity”. IMDb has a very cool plot line for the movie:

A pair of corporate spies (Owen and Roberts) who share a steamy past hook up to pull off the ultimate con job on their respective bosses.

Considering it has Julia and Clive I’m sure it’s going to be great. I love the photos of them filming as well. Doesn’t Julia look fantastic?

“Pirates of The Caribbean” star, Orlando Bloom was photographed on the set of his new movie, “New York, I Love you” also starring the wonderful and talented Christiana Ricci. I took a look at the credits of the movie and it’s a veritable who’s who of young Hollywood. Shia LeBeouf, Blake Lively, Natalie Portman, Hayden Christensen, and Rachel Bilson are also set to star in this film. Not to mention some old Hollywood greats like, Kevin Bacon, Ethan Hawke, and Robin Right Penn to name just a few. The plot line is simple though I’m sure the actual movie will be anything but.

An anthology film joining several love stories set in one of the most loved cities of the world, New York.

Anyone interested in seeing this movie? I’m always curious how a movie will turn out when there are several “stars” in it.

Ok, so the post is really about Fast and Furious the movie, not my dating preference (for the record I’ve been married for 6 years). Paul YUM Walker, Vince Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster are all back for the fourth installment and it’s said to contain a ton of action and exotic cars. Typical. But it works. Is it wrong that I am a little excited about this film?

When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O’Conner (Walker). But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmanuever him. And from convoy heists to precision tunnel crawls across international lines, two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what’s possible behind the wheel.

The movie is set to release June 2009.
