M. Night Shyamlan, most famously known for The Sixth Sense and Signs will direct The Last Airbender for Paramount’s MTV Films and Nick Movies. He will write, direct, and produce this children’s film. It follows the adventurers of a successor to a long line of Avatars who must stop Fire Nation from enslaving the Water, Earth, and Fire nations.

I am super-excited for Shyamlan lastest film, The Happening, is out June 13 starring Mark Wahlberg, Jon Leguizamo, and Zooey Deschanel. The story is about a couple that goes on the run from an apocalyptic crisis that presents itself as a threat to humanity. Gotta love Marky Mark!
