Jennifer Garner & Juliana Jane’s production company just inked a “first look” deal with Warner Bros. for six future projects. Jennifer Garner is slated to star in two of the six so far, but will more then likely NOT act in all of them.

They have 3 movies already mapped out, the first one being a remake of a Japanese supernatural thriller, “Be With You” and the only detail released on that, is Allan Loeb is the writer. Next up we have, “Three Days in Europe” which is based of a graphic novel written by Anthony Johnston & Mike Hawthorne. The rumor is Jennifer will be in that one alongside Hugh Jackman. Last, but not least, is “The Garden of Last Days” the other movie that Jennifer will appear in.

I loved Jennifer in “Alias” and “Juno” so I have to say I’m excited about this deal. Plus, the added chance of seeing Jennifer and Hugh Jackman on screen together is fantastic. I love that man. :)

Boston Legal Promotes It’s New Time Slot In An Episode

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 2:31 pm

This is kind of genius.  The producers of Boston Legal have decided to promote their switch to a new time slot within an episode. The show is moving from 10pm on Tuesdays to 10pm on Wednesdays.  So, at the end of the final episode before the switch they show a scene in a meeting where Denny Crane is surprised to learn that the weekly firm meeting is being changed from…10pm on Tuesdays to 10pm on Wednesdays.  I love it :)

The network will let people know we’re moving, but we couldn’t help but also deal with it the way Boston Legal deals with things — by turning it into a little scene,” says Legal exec producer Bill D’Elia. “It’s irreverent, fun, and inside baseball… We stay in character and treat it like, ‘If you get it, you get it, and if you don’t, you don’t.’”

Stacy Ann From America’s Next Top Model Predicts Who Will Win

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 1:01 pm

Any America’s Next Top Model fans out there? I love that show! I wasn’t too sad to see Stacy Anne go though. I liked her but I didn’t think she would win. My personal prediction is that Fatima is going to go all the way, that girl is GORGEOUS! But that’s not what Stacy Anne thinks. She recently did an interview and predicted a plus size winner.

Whitney is probably going to win. Even though she’s a plus-size model, she’s really, really good at taking pictures and speaking. She’s really confident. I think this cycle Tyra might make history by making Whitney the first plus-size model to win.

She also talked about some of the other contestants strange habits:

Allison and Dominique exercised a lot. Whitney did a lot of baking. Marvita and Dominique liked to cook a lot. And I don’t cook a lot as a wife, so I learned a little of that. The weirdest was how Allison ate A1 sauce and Jell-O all the time. I didn’t pick that one up!

Stacy Ann mentioned her freezing cold photo shoot too:

It was so cold and I’m from Florida! They showed that I was having a really hard time with the weather. It was like 30 degrees. I’ve never, ever been that cold! My eyes kept tearing, so I was trying to do everything I could to work with my teary eyes. I was very happy that Mr. Jay defended me. And even though it wasn’t a single shot, I feel like in the picture of me they chose, I wasn’t in the spotlight. I was a little disappointed with my picture, but I knew I tried my hardest considering the circumstances.

Do you agree with Stacy Ann on who she thinks will win this season of ANTM? If not, who do you think will take home the big prize?

Orlando Bloom To Star In Le Cercle Rouge

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 12:53 pm

Orlando Bloom is set to star in a remake of the classic French crime thriller, Le Cercle Rouge. In English the title translates to The Red Circle. Here’s the plot summary of the original, if you haven’t seen it.

Corey is a cool, aristocratic thief, released from prison on the same day that Vogel, a murderer, escapes from the custody of the patient Mattei, a cat-loving police superintendent. Corey robs Rico, his mob boss, then enlists Vogel and an ex-police sharpshooter, Jansen, in a jewel heist. While Corey is harried by the vengeful Rico, Mattei pressures Santi, a nightclub owner and pimp, to help him trap the thieves.

It all sounds a bit confusing, but if Orlando is in it, I’ll go see it anyways :) Liam Nelson and Chow Yun Fat are also rumored to be in negotiations for roles in the movie. They start filming in June.

Will Your Favorite TV Show Survive?

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 11:37 am

TV Guide put together an odds sheet to determine what television shows are the safest best for surviving the season. Luckily, Moonlight got an 8 out of 10 (phew). Where does your show fall?

Aliens in America
The bad news: The ratings suck.
The good news: The show doesn’t. It’s really funny. And smart. And the CW knows it.
Odds of Survival: 3

Back to You
The bad news: It didn’t experience enough of an American Idol bump back in February to make it a lock for next season.
The good news: Fox is as enamored of the show as Kelsey Grammer’s character is enamored of himself.
Odds of Survival: 7

Big Shots
The bad news: Horrible show + even worse ratings = buh-bye.
The good news: Lots of really talented actors are free to appear in better TV shows!
Odds of Survival: 0

Boston Legal
The bad news: That cast doesn’t come cheap. And they’ll come even less cheap next year.
The good news: It continues to be a solid, if not spectacular, performer for ABC.
Odds of Survival: 6

Cane
The bad news: Nestor Carbonell is back on Lost!
The good news: Nestor Carbonell is back on Lost!
Odds of Survival: 2

Cashmere Mafia
The bad news: Viewers gave it a lukewarm reception and critics give it a downright chilly one, making Mafia a likely candidate for getting whacked.
The good news: One less Sex and the City clone to clog up the airwaves!
Odds of Survival: 0

Cavemen
The bad news: Oh, where to begin….
The good news: I can stop feeling sorry for the inimitable Julie White. She deserves better, and maybe now she’ll get it!
Odds of Survival: 0

Eli Stone
The good news: Following Desperate Housewives, it scored its highest ratings since its premiere. Even more importantly, ABC loves it!
The bad news: Eli needs to hang onto the extra viewers it gleaned from Desperate when it returns to its regular Thursday time slot tonight.
Odds of Survival: 7
