Heidi Montag Wants Hills Wedding Spin Off

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 10:46 am

Well, that just means these two will be divorced before the end of the decade. We all know what happens to couples who sign on for reality shows following their relationship. It doesn’t work. Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are willing to take a chance. It will be a Newlywed-esq type show and I am sure they will enough fill it with pre-staged drama to fill a lifetime. Page Six reports,

We’re told, “The show would be a mix of ‘The Hills’ meets ‘Newlyweds.’ ” And though the source insists DiSanto was relatively stone-faced during Pratt’s pitch, network insiders revealed to Page Six that “Heidi and Spencer definitely have a deal in the works with MTV.”

The source added, “The cast of ‘The Hills,’ separately or individually, is a home run. It’s their highest-rated show, so everyone wants a piece of it. MTV isn’t obsessed with the idea, but they’d be crazy not to do it.”

Bai Ling Rehearsing For Dim Sum Funeral

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 8:40 am

Dim Sum Funeral Bai Ling Fighting

Bai Ling showed off her martial arts prowess while rehearsing a fight scene for the film Dim Sum Funeral shooting in Vancouver, BC. Don’t let Bai fool you, Miss Kelly Hu is the lead and we all know what she brings to a film. I’m a HUGE kung fu fan, so this is officially on the list of movies to see.

A story about a group of estranged Chinese-American siblings who reunite after the death of their mother.

No More Romantic Comedies For Johnny Depp

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 8:32 am

Expect a dark angle in every future film Johnny Depp makes because that’s exactly how he likes it. After all his success, he finally is putting his foot down and only making movies he finds interesting… and boy meets girl just isn’t cutting it anymore.

“There is a dark side in me, like in each one of us. I only feel the fun factor when turning to a dark role, like in my most recent film Sweeney Todd. I wouldn’t want to be in a romantic film, where it’s about the boy meeting the girl, losing the girl, and getting her back. That would really bore me to death.”

Want To Be An Extra? Point To An Empty Chair

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 8:23 am

Yeah for security!! While Iron Man was filming, a random man decided he wanted to be part of the movie. So he snuck in as an extra. When confronted by a security guard ath Caesar’s Palace Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, the man pointed to a random chair and said his pass was on it. The security guard gave him the ok and off he went.  He made it right behind Gwyneth Paltrow on a neighboring poker table during one of the gambling shoots. He even scored screen time with Paltrow when director Jon Favreau asked him to interact with the actress.

“When a guard asked for my pass, I pointed to an empty chair and said I’d left it there. Unbelievably, he believed me.”

Not Enough Risk From This Season’s Idols Says Simon

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 8:11 am

“They are giving very safe answers to questions, making safe song selections. We are not getting a sense of who they are. We have to try to pull it out of them more. You cannot deliver an uninspired performance at the top of the show. And you can’t be up there imitating another singer.”

I think it’s funny when Simon Cowell says things like this because his comments can be so cruel when they do take chances. If anyone tries to do a Whitney, he usual response is - “Too big for you. Too much of a risk”. I think the American Idol contestants just don’t want to get yelled at. They are on stage, but there are a ton of eggshells surrounding them. Who can blame them?
