Jennifer Garner & Juliana Jane’s production company just inked a “first look” deal with Warner Bros. for six future projects. Jennifer Garner is slated to star in two of the six so far, but will more then likely NOT act in all of them.

They have 3 movies already mapped out, the first one being a remake of a Japanese supernatural thriller, “Be With You” and the only detail released on that, is Allan Loeb is the writer. Next up we have, “Three Days in Europe” which is based of a graphic novel written by Anthony Johnston & Mike Hawthorne. The rumor is Jennifer will be in that one alongside Hugh Jackman. Last, but not least, is “The Garden of Last Days” the other movie that Jennifer will appear in.

I loved Jennifer in “Alias” and “Juno” so I have to say I’m excited about this deal. Plus, the added chance of seeing Jennifer and Hugh Jackman on screen together is fantastic. I love that man. :)

Orlando Bloom To Star In Le Cercle Rouge

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 12:53 pm

Orlando Bloom is set to star in a remake of the classic French crime thriller, Le Cercle Rouge. In English the title translates to The Red Circle. Here’s the plot summary of the original, if you haven’t seen it.

Corey is a cool, aristocratic thief, released from prison on the same day that Vogel, a murderer, escapes from the custody of the patient Mattei, a cat-loving police superintendent. Corey robs Rico, his mob boss, then enlists Vogel and an ex-police sharpshooter, Jansen, in a jewel heist. While Corey is harried by the vengeful Rico, Mattei pressures Santi, a nightclub owner and pimp, to help him trap the thieves.

It all sounds a bit confusing, but if Orlando is in it, I’ll go see it anyways :) Liam Nelson and Chow Yun Fat are also rumored to be in negotiations for roles in the movie. They start filming in June.

Bai Ling Rehearsing For Dim Sum Funeral

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 8:40 am

Dim Sum Funeral Bai Ling Fighting

Bai Ling showed off her martial arts prowess while rehearsing a fight scene for the film Dim Sum Funeral shooting in Vancouver, BC. Don’t let Bai fool you, Miss Kelly Hu is the lead and we all know what she brings to a film. I’m a HUGE kung fu fan, so this is officially on the list of movies to see.

A story about a group of estranged Chinese-American siblings who reunite after the death of their mother.

No More Romantic Comedies For Johnny Depp

Friday, April 18th, 2008 at 8:32 am

Expect a dark angle in every future film Johnny Depp makes because that’s exactly how he likes it. After all his success, he finally is putting his foot down and only making movies he finds interesting… and boy meets girl just isn’t cutting it anymore.

“There is a dark side in me, like in each one of us. I only feel the fun factor when turning to a dark role, like in my most recent film Sweeney Todd. I wouldn’t want to be in a romantic film, where it’s about the boy meeting the girl, losing the girl, and getting her back. That would really bore me to death.”
