I just read about this movie and I can barely control my excitement. I adore Adam Sandler, I just wish he would choose better movies. I mean I know he can act and if he’d only use his powers for good the world would be a better place. :)

“Bedtime Stories” is one of his newest projects and it’s about:

A family comedy about a hotel handyman (Sandler) whose life changes when the lavish bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to magically come true.

It sounds sweet and funny and I’m hoping it’ll be great. The reason that I’m SO excited though is the fact that Keri Russell is going to star in it and lately that girl has been choosing GREAT movies. With her being in the movie it leads me to believe that Adam got it right. YEAHhh!!!

Ashley Tisdale To Star In, “Teen Witch”

Ashley Tisdale is slated to play Louise Miller an, “unpopular girl that finds out she’s a descendant of witches and has powers as well“. Sound familiar? That’s because it’s a remake of, “Teen Witch” from 1989 starring Robyn Lively. Do you think Ashley will do a good job? Personally, I think it’s a more appropriate fit then Miley Cyrus playing Punky Brewster.

Hollywood loves to remake movies every 15 years, or so. Next thing you know they’ll be trying to have Lindsay Lohan redo, “Pretty in Pink”… I’m kidding… Because if that happened I’d hurt myself.

Penelope Cruz At The Photocall for “Elegy”

Penelope Cruz arrived to the Photocall for her new movie, “Elegy” in Madrid, Spain yesterday looking stunning in a simple blue silk blouse and high waisted black skirt. What I really need to know is how Penelope Cruz manages to have such thick, shiny, gorgeous hair?! I need to find out what she uses it and soak my hair in it. I doubt it’ll be as great, but I’ll take even a little Penelope hair magic.

Now onto the movie information…. Penelope’s movie “Elegy” will be released first in Spain this April 18th, then it’ll be released in the US at the Tribeca Film Festival April 29th, onto the Seattle Film Festival May 24th, and finally it’ll arrive on limited release in the US on June 27th. So if your a fan you’ll have to wait a bit, but I’m sure Penelope will make it worth while.

Here’s Kate and Anne Hathaway leaving the set of their new movie, “Bride Wars” in Boston, Massachusetts the other day. From the looks of it you’d think they just got off work in the office, instead of a movie set. :) I know I keep saying it, but the teaming up of these two is fantastic and I can’t wait to see the movie. There isn’t a set release date other then 2009, hopefully we’ll no more in the future.

This time I think Kate Hudson wins the best outfit of the day. What about you guys, who do you think has the best outfit?

X-Files Sequel Title Released

Thursday, April 17th, 2008 at 3:40 pm

x-files-2-movie

Are you ready for this X-Files fans?  The title of the sequel has been released and it’s…drum roll please…The X-Files: I Want to Believe. I love it!  What do you think?  If you watched the TV show you might remember that Mulder had a poster hanging up with that slogan on it.

Movie director and writer, Chris Carter said,

“It’s a natural title. It’s a story that involves the difficulties in mediating faith and science. I Want to Believe. It really does suggest Mulder’s struggle with his faith.”

He also talked about keeping the story a secret:

“We went to almost comical lengths to keep the story a secret,” Carter said. “That included allowing only the key crewmembers to read the script, and they had to read it in a room that had video cameras trained on them. It was a new experience.”

And he adds that there’s a whole new audience out there for this movie:

“It has struck me over the last several years talking to college-age kids that a lot of them really don’t know the show or haven’t seen it. If you’re 20 years old now, the show started when you were 4. It was probably too scary for you or your parents wouldn’t let you watch it. So there’s a whole new audience that might have liked the show. This was made to, I would call it, satisfy everyone.”
