Clubbing. Chihuahuas. Paris. Sounds about right. A brand new reality show program has Paris Hilton’s name written all over it. People in the UK can expect to see a lot more of her clubbing and running a pet grooming business on the tube. Sounds… exciting.

Paris has just landed a show for UK satellite TV’s Living Channel where they intend for her to hit the club scene just as she does here in LA! Heres the thing though, the show is supposed to be about her running a pet grooming business!

Everyone knows Hilton is an animal lover, (also a fame lover) as she once claimed to have over 600 pets between the many homes she lives in, and UK TV thinks she would be perfect to run a dog grooming facility in Bond Street, London.

A spokesperson for the channel said;

“Watching Paris act out her Los Angeles lifestyle, in which tiaras for Chihuahuas are of real importance, should be very entertaining. And she will no doubt be hitting the clubs and parties over here in the same way she does back home.”

I’ve owned this book for a very long time and haven’t gotten around to reading. Well, I better step my game up if I want to read it before the movie comes out! Sarah Michelle Gellar is slated to play Veronika in Veronika Decides to Die. Aidan Quinn and Bridgette Fonda are also in talks for leading roles.

British director Emily Young (Kiss Of Life) is set to direct the film. The script has been written by Roberta Hanley and Larry Gross. Photography is set to begin on May 12th 2008 in New York with Sriram Das/Das and Chris Hanley/Muse as producers. American actress Sarah Michelle Gellar (The Air I Breathe, Possession) is set to play Veronika. Aidan Quinn and Bridgette Fonda are in talks for other roles in the film though not yet confirmed.

Film release in the US is scheduled for 2008.

Britney Spears was such a hit the first time around that How I Met Your Mother has asked her to come back to play the secretary on the show again. Although it hasn’t yet been confirmed by Fox, People is reporting that she will do just one more episode.

“The show is ecstatic and so is Britney,” a source said. “She had so much fun the first time around she really wanted to come back. It was a mutual decision to work together more.”

I’m really happy for her. Seems that both career and personal life are starting to look up!

Ron Perlman and Selma Blair attended the Hellboy II-The Golden Army preview at ComicCon held at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC.  Hellboy was right up my alley. So I’m excited to give this one a go. There is a ton of info on the movie’s official site - pictures, videos, clips etc.
