As a hardcore fan of “Punky Brewster” I don’t know where to go with this latest news. The part that adored Soleil Moon Frye and wore different colored socks wants to cry and the other part understands that this is what Hollywood does, so just let it go.

What I’ve gathered so far is Hannah Montana (Miley Cyrus) is slated to play Punky and it’ll be directed by….. dum… da…. dum… Fred Savage! I didn’t even know he was a director, but it turns out he directed, “Daddy Day Camp” and a few episodes of, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia“. Whether or not it turns out decent, a small part of me feels like Hollywood is evil.

So how do you all feel about Punky Brewster being turned into a movie and Hannah Montanna aka Miley Cyrus starring in it?
